Co-Living Room

Updated: Apr 22, 2021

The co-Living Room is an invitation to redesign the living room of the Victoria Square Project, through an open to all and collective designing process, together with the neighbors of Victoria Square.

Thematically, the project revolves around the daily practice of exchanging coffee and tea, a daily practice that unites the majority of the communities living in Athens. It aims to create a public conversation on art, design and the public space that is addressed to all and is realized through the design and production of objects for a living room, the result of an intercultural mix of designs and a medium to highlight the contemporary Athenian identity.

The co-Living Room is part of co-Athens which is implemented in the framework of a European pilot program "Curing the Limbo" run by the Municipality of Athens. The program is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the UIA program.
