Victoria Square Project will host the presentation of "House of saliva and dust”, George Phytas' thesis on Monday 28 February 2022 between from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
George Phytas is a graduate student of the University of Interior Architecture Applied Arts and Culture of the University of West Attica (PA.D.A.). His work "House of saliva and dust" is an art installation (3.00m x 1.50m) on the redefinition of the abandoned Arsakeion gallery based on the new hidden life that the space has acquired due to its decline. Through the spatial narrative of a "nightmare fairy tale”, the parasitic habitation that invades the space is presented, creating new hybrid worlds. The installation aims to highlight the relationship between the individual and the building as one suffering body.
