The Victoria Square Project (VSP) team is looking for two (2) young people to support the implementation of its artistic program, as part of a paid internship. During the internship, the trainees come in daily contact with the neighbors and participants of the organization's program. They will have the opportunity to develop, among other things, communication skills, organization, cooperation and adaptability, and to immerse themselves in the structures and mechanisms of operation of a cultural organization. VSP's internship program is funded by the Stavros Foundation Niarchos (ISN).
Available Seats
A) Internship for young people, residents of the 6th Municipal Community of Athens
The first position is addressed to a young person, who is a resident of the 6th Municipal Community of Athens. Someone who can support the implementation of the artistic program of Victoria Square Project. The paid internship lasts four months, from March to July 2022, part-time working hours (including Saturdays and in exceptional cases also on Sundays, after consultation with the trainee).
Conditions
The interested party should:
be a graduate of schools in the 6th Municipal Community of Athens
be a resident of the 6th Municipal Community of Athens
show interest in the objective of the organization's actions and involvement with the local community.
have a good level of Greek, while English or French and additional languages are desirable.
B) Internship for students and graduates of universities or technical institutes
The second position is addressed to a professional (1) graduate of a University or technical institute who is looking towards employment in the contemporary artistic community of Athens.
Conditions
The interested party should:
be a graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Cultural Management, Communication and/or related subjects.
have a proven interest in contemporary participatory art, art in public space, organizing and communicating cultural events.
have organizational skills and ability to cooperate within a team setting.
have a good level of Greek, while English or French and additional languages are desirable.
