Victoria travels to Nigeria and Albania through contemporary art!

Victoria Square Project invites kids 5-12 years old to the free art workshops "Victoria travels to" from 4 May to 4 June 2022. Kids will learn about Nigeria and Albania not only through works of art but also through our little friends, who will take on the role of a tour guide and navigate us through their homeland.

Throughout the program we will enrich our knowledge and uncover secrets of each country. We will be focusing on one artist per country, we will learn about ancient techniques that are still used and found in contemporary works of art such as, engraving, mosaic and collage, and from there we will create our own works which we will collect for our personal travel diaries. At the same time, our little guides will familiarize us with the characteristics that make their country of origin special.

It consists of the second-cycle of the interdisciplinary art workshop for kids “Victoria travels”, part of the VSP’s educational program “Victoria NOW” under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Culture.

PROTECTIVE MEASURES AGAINST COVID19
Victoria Square Project complies with all protection measures set to restrict the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in all programs carried out either at VSP(Elpidos 13, Athens) or in open/public spaces.

Terms of participation & protective measures
• Mandatory use of masks indoors and temperature checks when entering the space.
• The required distance should be followed in all areas inside the space.  
• Frequent hand disinfection.
• The use of masks for children and young people during the workshop is mandatory.
